About AAS

Dr. Roger A. Dashner

Advanced Anatomical Services (AAS) was founded by Roger A. Dashner, M.S., Ph.D. for the purpose of providing critical support to medical and allied health care professionals, as well as educators and researchers in the anatomical and biomedical sciences. Dr. Dashner is a clinical anatomist and serves as the chief executive officer of AAS. He has advanced training in numerous specialties including surgical anatomy, medical education, anatomical tissue preparation and embalming, human and animal dissection, forensic science and autopsy services, radiologic and digital imaging and preventive medicine.

Dr. Dashner is a member of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists and has over 30 years of practical teaching and research experience in the anatomical sciences. He has taught extensively for the College of Medicine and the College of Dentistry at the Ohio State University, as a clinical associate professor. He has also taught for the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the College of Health Sciences and Professions at Ohio University, as an adjunct associate professor. During his tenure at OSU and OU, Dr. Dashner has received several teaching awards. His past and present students include medical, dental, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing and other allied health students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Additionally, Dr. Dashner provides training to numerous health care professionals including residents and interns in various medical and surgical specialties, as well as emergency medical technicians and paramedics. He also offers a variety of professional services to a diverse clientele that includes academic institutions, hospitals, biotechnology companies, veterinary clinics, private laboratories and governmental agencies.
