Dr. Roger A. Dashner

Advanced Anatomical Services (AAS) was founded by Roger A. Dashner, Ph.D. for the purpose of providing critical support to medical and allied health care professionals, as well as educators and researchers in the anatomical and biomedical sciences. Dr. Dashner is a clinical anatomist and serves as the chief executive officer of AAS. He has advanced training in numerous specialties including medical education, anatomical tissue preparation and embalming, human and animal dissection, radiologic and digital imaging, preventive medicine and forensic science.

Dr. Dashner is a member of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists and has over fifteen years of practical teaching and research experience in the anatomical sciences. He teaches for the College of Medicine and the College of Dentistry at the Ohio State University, where he currently holds an adjunct position as an assistant professor. He has also taught for the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University. During his tenure at OSU, Dr. Dashner has received four teaching awards. His past and present students include medical, dental, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing and other allied health students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, Dr. Dashner provides training to numerous health care professionals including emergency medical technicians and paramedics, as well as interns and residents in various medical specialties. He also offers a variety of professional services to a diverse clientele that includes academic institutions, hospitals, biotechnology companies, veterinary clinics, private laboratories and governmental agencies.
